Sell Ahead Practices

When a product is being set up as a pre-sell item, the following disclaimer pops up: Selling ahead this transfer request will update inventory in the Marketplace now, so you can accept sales orders ahead of inventory arriving at the warehouse. There are risks involved with this action, especially if any inventory is lost or damaged in transit.
We suggest that you only sell ahead 50 - 75% of the incoming product quantity to account for any product shortages/issues with the shipment.
