- In Shopify, a fraud order will be identified with a red triangle. This is the highest fraud level.
- Please email us if you see a fraud order. So we can put these orders on hold (not process).
- Our recommendation:
- Cancel these orders, it’s in the best interest of the customer and your company.
- Even if it’s a legit email and phone #, it may be the individual who is creating fraud that has created the order and responding to the email and even phone call. This has happened.
- For CS, just let the customer know that we are protecting them and to please create a new order with a different method of payment.
- If the new order is flagged fraud again, there are ways to confirm the address, etc. We just put the order on hold and make sure we can confirm all the information given by the customer.
